UpSchool EdTech Private Limited, including UpSchool, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, contractors and suppliers, (collectively “UpSchool”, “we”, “us” or “our”) defines terms and conditions of service (collectively, with UpSchool’s Privacy Policy, located at www.up.school/privacy/ ) govern your use of the Website and the services, features, content or applications operated by UpSchool (together with the Website, the “Services”), and provided to the Subscriber (the “Subscriber”, “user”, “sub-user”, “you” or “your”). 

 

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Services. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an entity, organization, or school, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such organization to these Terms of Service and you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service on behalf of such organization. Agreeing to use the Services by clicking “Login” constitutes your acceptance and agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service, and all other operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published from time to time on the Website by us, each of which is incorporated by reference and each of which may be modified from time to time without notice to you. You acknowledge receipt of our Privacy Policy. If you ordered the Services on the Website, use the Website, or otherwise engage in any electronic transaction with respect to the Services, then you agree to receive any updates to our Privacy Policy by accessing the Website. By using our Website or purchasing our products or services, you agree that we may use and share your personal information in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy

 

Eligibility

Education institutions affiliate with UpSchool as their digital learning platform via a binding contract. Access will be provided to associated users like students, parents, teachers, management and related roles of the institution. If your education institute associated with UpSchool, you can avail the services. If your education institution not associated with UpSchool, you will not be able to access the services of UpSchool.

For Users under the age of 18, it is mandatory that your parents or guardian have read and accepted these terms and conditions on your behalf. If your parent or guardian has not read and agreed to these terms and conditions, you will not have permission to use our services.

 

LAW Compliance

As you avail UpSchool services, you agree that you will not use our services for any unlawful purpose or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. You will comply with all applicable laws, conditions or restrictions imposed by these terms.

 

Access

When you are provided with access to UpSchool services via your education institute/school you acknowledge and agree that

  1. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and for all the activities that occur in relation to your access
  2. The information provided by you to UpSchool is true, accurate, current, complete and will be updated by you as and when required
  3. You may immediately notify UpSchool in an event of unauthorized use of your access
  4. UpSchool will not be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever resulting from the disclosure of your access details contrary to these terms

 

License

Subject to these terms including privacy policy, UpSchool grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable and revocable license, without any right to sub-license to use our services for your personal use during the tenure of your license with us solely in accordance with these Terms and solely for purposes of using the services offered by UpSchool via the website, platform, mobile application.

You are not permitted to download any copy of the content offered on UpSchool Website, Student mobile application, teacher, parent, and school management applications

 

Intellectual property

The website or service is owned and operated by UpSchool EdTech Private Limited. Accessing or using our services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our website or the content you access or use. Following includes intellectual property

  1. Learning content available in the form of graphics, content, and Digi-cards
  2. Learning assessments for pre and post part of the classroom experience as assessments, quiz, and worksheets
  3. Student application available for download by students and access the platform
  4. Teacher web application accessible via https://teacher.up.school
  5. Parent web application accessible via https://parent.up.school
